William and Alse spent their first years in Greenbrier Co VA where some of their children were born. They left VA and moved to Knox Co Ohio, later moving on to Noble Co. Indiana. They are both buried in The Gray's Cemetery, Green Twp, Noble Co. Indiana.

IL - married IRENE LUTICIA HAMMER Feb 26, 1912 in Pekin, IL. Irene was born Dec 20, 1895 in Mason Co. IL - died Jan 21, 1983 - parents were Daniel and Agnes Roush Hammer.

Alfred and Irene are found living in Springlake Twp, Tazewell Co. in 1920. They later moved to Pekin. My Mother was one of six children of Alfred and Irene. I am not listing the names of their children since some of them are still living.
