Zeus Engineering was founded in 1987 by Graham Beck an Alan Colclough, both Precision Aircraft Engineers. Early in 1989 Zeus where commissioned to design and manufacture a revolutionary Disc Brake Kit for the London Taxi Cab (Fairways), the cabs at this time were renowned for their inefficient Drum Braking System. The Zeus Brake Kit was thoroughly tested in the London area over some five million miles, closely monitored by the appropriate local authorities. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zeus were aware of the need for improved braking power for Classic vehicles, and having successfully designed the taxi brake caliper went on to redevelop the caliper for Classic Jaguar vehicles. In 1996 after four years of manufacturing and improving the caliper design to fit other models of Classic vehicles, and lack of enthusiasm by its agent at that time, Zeus decided it was time to trade direct with future customers and give these customers the benefit of Zeus's manufacturing skills of one off specials at affordable prices direct. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zeus expertise in the technical automotive industry has produced advances with regards to the Timing Gear Conversion Kits for the Land Rover Series, 2.50 turbo and Naturally Aspirated, tdi 200 to 300 Range of vehicles, resulting in low down torque, reduced smoke emissions, better fuel consumption and more precise timing.
