Anathema: Poems Selected & New, is now available! I've been doing several readings in Ontario to launch the book and will do an official London one on Monday, October 26th, 7:30pm (see above under "Upcoming Readings").  In London, the book is available at Oxford Book Shop & The Book Store at Western.

Dr. Lerner's Study Notes, or The Treatise of Cameron King is a new single-poem, limited edition chapbook (8 pages) revisiting an early poem from the "Captain Fascist" era. It's available from the ordering page.

My poem, November Rose, won 1st prize in the 13th International Mattia Poetry Competition. It had made the 50-poem shortlist earlier in September. The poem is included in my latest book, Anathema.

My new poem,
Tiles, is included in the latest issue of The Toronto Quarterly, which also features work by rob mclennan, Nathaniel G. Moore, Gillian Sze, Yaqoob Ghaznavi, Bonnie L. Nish, and many other writers.

My new poem,
Michael Jackson Isn't Dead, will be published in the forthcoming anthology, The Meaning of Michael Jackson. Details TBA.

I have new haiku in the Summer 2009 issue of
Canadian Zen Haiku Canadien, an excellent haiku periodical edited by Ottawa poet Richard Vallance.

My poem, Francesca, Weeding the Garden was used in Dancing on Summer Strings, an evening of harp music, contemporary dance and poetry. Work by London poets was used for the spoken word portion performed by Jake Levesque. Kathleen Gahagan provided the music and Ruth Douthwright the interpretive dance. It was held at London's Aeolian Hall on August 7, 2009.

My poem, "Anathema" (the title piece in my new collection) is included in the 2009 Ascent Aspirations Anthology.
