Fluffy
is a Goffin Cockatoo.�� She was hatched in May of 1989,�
and she is just as spunky as when she was a baby.�� Did I say
"When she *was* a baby"?�� Let me stand corrected,� cockatoo's
"never" grow up and why should they?�� They are bursting with
affection and filled with the devil.�� Fluffy loves to hop through
the house looking for an empty arm, if she gets off her play set!

Hey dad wait up...hold on
I've just about got a good hold...thanks.� What's that thing?�
Broom?� Dad it is moving!� Oh no, .hey dad it is attacking me...watch
out!!�� At least,� yell timber next time!� It is hard
enough just holding on.

Kiss me Jacob...you know
you want to ;)�� Let's make this a good one, smile. Ummmm looks
good dad what is it?� Hey trust me this corn is good take some.�
Go ahead dad open up.

Hmmm another green thing.�
Let me get a closer look. No it's not a broom.� Let me beg a little.�
I think I'm in love.� Bummer,� Dad went to the toy store and
Jacob got a bike,I got tinker toys.� Dad where's the corn?� No
chips, thank you, I'm on a diet!� Well maybe just one.

Chow time,� love those
monkey biscuits.� Hey wait a minute Dad no one told me about these
orange things.� Don't worry we can share.� Jason how long did
you say that tooth was bothering you?� Hold� still I think I
can get it.� What a cute small size human.� Let me check this
one out closer. Stephanie lets be friends ;)

Do you think she sees me?� Why isn't she petting me?� Yep,�
Steph it's dark in there, but wait, something's missing.� Where's
your teeth??��� Ok,� Jacob just like we practiced.
Remember don't say dead bird and don't drop me!
Jacob and Fluffy grew to
be the best of buddies.� There isn't anything Fluffy wouldn't do for
Jacob.� That goes both ways.� They truly love each other.�
Fluffy will sit for hours on end with Jacob, or perform some of the cute
little tricks Jacob has taught her.� Being a cockatoo she is also
attached to everyone else in the household.
We
were completely comfortable with Fluffy being around the children.�
She was only a baby herself when the pictures were taken with my grandson
Jason and granddaughter Stephanie.� As a mature bird I would not be
as trusting around small children.� Or some adults for that matter.
