Alexander,
Who Used to Be Rich, Last Sunday by Judith Viorst |
| |
We love reading this book in class! I start
our money unit by reading this book. I put 100 paper pennies
on the board and as we read the book we take off the pennies
as Alexander spends and loses his money. |

Economics Fair |
| |
At the end of the year all the first grade
classes get together and host a economics fair. Each class
is responsible for coming up with a product and providing
a service. We split into 3 groups and each group gets
a chance to be a businessman and a consumer. It's a great
time! |
