Noun Sort |
| |
I've done this lesson for several years and it's a great
way to review nouns. I start by making a template in Kid
Pix. The template has 3 rows: person, place and thing.
The students use the stamps to find examples of each type
of noun. The students need to be familiar with Kid Pix
before you can do this exercise. |

The Five Senses |
| |
Again, this lesson requires a teacher made template.
This template has five boxes, one for each of the five
senses. The students find examples for each box. |

Addition Sentences |
| |
I make two versions of the template for this lesson.
In one I provide the entire addition sentence, with the
answers included and another without the answers. The
students use stamps to make pictures to match each sentence
and, if needed, answer the question. |

Comparing Mass |
| |
I make a template with two columns: Lighter than a book
and heavier than a book. The students stamp examples in
both columns. |

About the Program |
| |
I just discovered this program and I love it! It is
a graphic organzier program designed for young children.
It has pre-made activites, or the student or teacher can
make their own. I really love it because it has a feature
that allows the student to click on words and have them
read to them. When I make templates I can type the instructions
on it and the kids can click to hear them. This saves
me alot of extra work in the computer lab. I've typed
in alot of different words and its read the all! |

Butterfly Life Cycle |
| |
I made a template in Kidspiration for the kids to use.
They had to find pictures of each phase of the life cycle
then drag the name for each stage. |
