This page is all about me - my likes, dislikes, interests and more! I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and consequently I am a huge Calgary Flames fan! I am a Christian, and very proud of it, which brings me to one of my favorite Bible verses:
"For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain." - Philippians 1:21 (NIV)
I think that verse sums up what every Christian believes - that life is meaningless without Christ, and that through death a Christian loses nothing, but gains everything (essentially, eternal life!).
I have a lot of interests. I am a huge movie buff, and own an extensive collection of over 150 DVD's, including movies and TV shows. Click here to go to my movies page. I love to read, and also have a huge collection of books. You can click here to check out my books page.
I have quite a few hobbies, as I tend to be a collector of things (such as DVD's and books!). I also collect stamps, and have quite a big collection, although I haven't found time to put them all in my albums. I have a fish tank, with a number of fish in it. As of today, May 11, 2006 we have 2 Zebra Danios, a Flying Fox, and a small orange fish which I don't the name of! I also collect Star Wars Miniatures, a hobby which I got into more recently. I was actually introduced to it by a friend in August of 2005 (Thanks Sebastien!).
Like my father (and because of my father) I am very into music. I have a considerable collection, and am adding to it all the time. I like to be meticulous about my music collection, so I make sure all the song information is correct, including year, album, artist and title of each song. As a result, the process of sorting through my music is a long one!
