Our Wedding I |

Tom and I live together since 1993. However, it wasn't until 1996 that the city of Antwerp made it possible for couples like ourselves to be able to have a marriage ceremony. In order to have this ceremony, we first had to sign a legal, notorized cohabitation contract. In our case, the notary presented us with a regular marriage contract which we amended to include a few articles of our own. And so it was that on 24 August 1996, with the blessing of family and friends, Tom and I got married in the town hall of the city of Antwerp, Belgium. |
