SOTG (Special Operations Training Group) is a military-based "clan" that was originally formed to allow a group of friends compete together on a video game (Socom U.S. Navy Seals) tactically. Since its inaguration over 4 years ago, myself, along with others have developed the website and idea into what it now is, as an official NPO (Not For Profit Organization).
SOTG has also introduced training programs not limited to the game, and recently (within the last year), has developed a Leadership Training Roster for members under the age of 18. This Roster's sole purpose is to help develop the skills of the kids and make them effective leaders. |

In addition, I have also run seminars on skill sets in hockey. While this isn't a tangable project for the porfolio, I felt it should be listed as a project that was completed. This included training kids in such skills as:
Forward Skating
Backward Skating
Cross-overs
Wrist Shots
Stick Handling
During my time as a counselor, I have recieved many acclaims from parents and kids alike in my ability to deliver the message of the skills as well as knowledge. |
