Leadership
As stated in my resume, I have taken on quite a few leadership roles in my career.  Throughout my hockey career, I have had opporunities to lead my team in certain situations including Captaining my high school hockey team.  In addition, at the age of 18, I was helping run a hockey school that housed kids ages 6-16.  Furthermore, during my landscaping job, I led a team of four to make sure the work that was required to be finished was done each day, and on most days, surpassed.  Finally, at the age of 21 I helped create a Not-For-Profit Organization based in the United States to help kids work on their leadership skills.
The Ability to Learn Quickly
I have always prided myself on the ability to "pick up" and learn things quickly.  During many of my jobs, this ability has become my greatest asset in that it allows me to excel without having to take extended periods of time to learn how to do a task.  One example of this was in my second year at the Toronto Star.  Upon rollout of a new computer system, full-time staff were given 3 weeks of training on how to operate the system before being put back to work.  In my training, after just three days, I was back to work and excelling during my contracted time there, even taking top revenue-earner in the department for the month of August.
