Particulars of:
KERENSA
Front Street, NABURN, York, North Yorks Y01 4RR
Kerensa was built some 15 years ago of attractive brick elevations under a pantile roof. The present owners have double-glazed throughout, extended and improved the house and have recently completed the construction of a magnificent South-facing multi-purpose conservatory. There is sealed unit leaded double-glazing and excellent fittings throughout. It offers adaptable well-proportioned accommodation in a mature and attractive garden. Naburn itself provides amenities including a primary school, post office, doctor's surgery, etc and fast access to York and the A64 ring road to Leeds. The local pub (on the corner 8 houses away) is the "Blacksmiths Arms". A large supermarket shopping complex has been built not far from Naburn. In the 1995 floods (worst this century) Naburn access was cut off for a day - except for a sealed back road through farmer's fields. However Front Street itself remained unflooded. The Marina entrance is about 100 yards up the street. Front Street is actually a quiet back street running parallel to the River Ouse. Just across the main road is the cycle track into the centre of York. Directly across from Kerensa is a quaint but original old cottage built in the 12th century. The Minster can be seen clearly (about 4 kms distant). Naburn is a very old village and retains its rustic charm and individuality despite its proximity to York centre.

 The accommodation now includes:
