| Yes, this is a wallhanging, and it's very easy to make. I took a thin piece of scrap wood and had it cut to approximately two feet square, then painted it with cream spray paint and added a hanger to the back so it could be put on the wall. I took four identical pieces of 12" ?X 12" paper from the Basic Gray Motifica collection and turned each so that the circle pattern was created. I covered the board with Modge Podge and arranged the papers on it, leaving a slight space between each to create the "grout" effect. The last step was to add a final layer of Modge Podge over the entire piece to protect it from dust and grime. It took under an hour to make total, and it was cheap (under $10). I think it looks like gorgeous old stone tiles! |
