My Craft Room
Craft Desk Area
This is a large view of the entire craft desk area, taken from the doorway of the room.  Scroll down for more photos and information about the area.
These are close-ups of the storage area below the surface of the desk.  The top shelf holds my paper trimmer and a large light box.  The little sets of drawers hold various small embellishments that I need easy access to frequently, such as premade dimensional embellishments (Jolee's stickers, Architecture stone embellishments, Fresh Tags, etc.), metal-rimmed tags, mesh, buttons, slide mounts, and so on.  Next to the drawers (it's hard to see in the photo) is a Paper Taker that I use to hold all of my large stencils, organized by theme (outdoors, alphabets, floral, etc.).
Here you can see a large view of the surface of my desk and the wall behind it.  The white baskets on the desk top hold one of each kind of adhesive I have.  Three black wire pen holders on the desk hold regular writing instruments, tools (X-acto knives, bone folder, Coluzzle knife, paper piercing tool, etc.), and paint brushes.  The only other things on my desk top are tissues and baby wipes (for cleaning stamps), so I really have room to spread out.

There are also many things on the wall above the desk.  Naturally, I have a swing out lamp, bulletin board, and clock.  Additional items on the wall include small embellishment storage drawers, tools hanging from hooks, and two shelves, which you can read about below.
These are close-ups of the small embellishment storage drawers above my desk.  It's actually one of those garage organizers people use to store nails and screws, but it was a much cheaper than buying a storage system geared towards scrapbookers.

As you can see in the the photo to the right, each drawer is neatly labeled and holds things like eyelets, brads, rivets, charms, ribbon slides, hinges, metal label holders, decorative photo corners, jump rings, and any other tiny embellishment that will fit in it.
Here's a close-up of the tools hanging above my desk.  There's a circle ruler/drawing tool, a heat tool, my most frequently used scissors, three CutterBee tools, and a regular ruler and centering rulers.  Everything is within very easy reach when I'm sitting at the desk.
This close-up shows the shelves above my desk.  I keep other tools that I need close at hand on them.  The top shelf holds my two Xyron machines and a small embellishment storage container.  The bottom shelf has a small light box (which is already plugged in and can be easily pulled down for use), a basket with my chalks and chalking tools, and three pen holders that I use to store specialty pens, Zig pens, and deco scissors.
