When we got back to Nebraska, Ric and Teri both came home to help get our place in Cook ready for sale.
Most of what we owned we sold with the house. What else we had we either gave away, threw away (a 7' X 22' foot dumpster full) or stored in our only remaninig contact with Nebraska, a 10' X 10' storage unit in Palmyra.
The homestead sold within a month for cash and the buyer paid us $10 more than we were asking. The closing was on Aug 31st, ---- then we were off for Florida to visit Jim's brother Tom and his wife Joan who was recently hospitalized.
