| Discarding: Lets say you picked up the ace of diamonds, does not matter why, whether you ordered it up, your partner ordered it up, or opponents ordered it up. Always try to discard the opposite color to eliminate that suit in your hand. So if you have the king of hearts and the king of spades, ditch the king of spades. Odds are better that your 2 opponents both have a spade than a heart, so if spades are led, you may take the trick with a trump. In this situation there are 5 other spades out there, and only 4 hearts. You have to learn to play the odds. 1/8/01 jimnette_dot_com |
