March 26, 2005  (Game 3)

April 2, 2005  (Game 4) - We lost to Bell Security, 44-30.  We came with me, Phil, Bennett, Lincoln, Wayland, and James.  We had no offense and no defense.  Could not rebound and had numerous turnovers.  Shooting percentage was horrible.  They were rough, playing man to man and the refs just let them do as they please.  They said I fouled out, but I am sure that was a mistake.  I got a Technical because I voiced my disdain for the refs abilities, the two girls refs with the bad attitudes and no people skills.  The guy guarding me was holding me, kind of dirty, and apologized to me after the game was over.  But next time, instead of complaining to the ref, I am going to shove that guy hard and tell him to keep his hands off me.  I didn't tape the game so I have nothing else to say about this awful game.

April 16, 2004.  Last week we won a forfeit when White Horse didn't show.  I even had Ted Low and Sherman Gee come help us, what a waste.  We could have used them this week, because this new RT team spanked us.  We could not stop their two guards, who just were too quick for us,  as they kept hitting running jump shots.  Their big man who was about 6'5 hit some nice shots and put the clamp on Melvin.  Even though we had Donny and Bick we lost.  Phil, me, Lincoln and Bennett were ineffective.  I had to leave at the half for my ABA game.  RT was by far the best team we faced this season.  This is the one team we should have played zone, but we started out man and quickly got into the hole.  So the season ended with four teams with 4-2 records - Jazz, RT, Bell Security, and us (Jazz unexpectantly lost to White Horse in sudden death today) but with whatever tie breaker method they used, we ended up fourth.

So the game we lost to Bell Security was our thorn this year because all three of our best players, Donny, Bick and Melvin were absent that game.  We will be another 6 months older, but we will try again next season....
