I am an artist living in the beautiful north west of Ireland. 

Click on the links above to see examples of a diverse range of my work: from painting and drawing to ceramics. All my paintings and drawings are done from direct observation and usually finished in one session. In my current work I try to express something of the transient nature of the light of the landscape of the north west of Ireland. The ceramics show a different aspect of my creativity with a sculptural emphasis. Here I enjoy imaginative and spontaneous use of press moulding techniques in clay.

After gaining a BA (Hons) degree in Fine Art at North Staffordshire Polytechnic, England, I worked and exhibited in the Midlands, Wales and Ireland. I went on to gain an MA in Fine Art from Northumbria University in 1992. From there I continued to work and exhibit extending my travels to New York City. In the late 90's I gained a teaching qualification at Goldsmith's College, London University and took up teaching posts in Hampshire working with children and adults.
