Lord Let Me Love Someone
God made creatures big and small.
Some are short and some are tall.
Some run fast and others run slow.
Some fly and others swim you know.
The point I want to make is this-
Some need a hug and some need a kiss.
When I awake each morning I pray
Lord let me appreciate this day.
It is the only day that is real to me;
the others are all gone you see.
Let me not waste any time today;
do a little work and have a little play.
God let me love some one today
and maybe they will pass it along some way.
Remind me to tell someone that I care
and listen to someone when they want to share.
Then when my life on this old earth is done
someone will say that I was a lot of fun
and maybe even that I may have helped somehow.
