James Joseph Knobeloch was born and raised on a farm near Belleville, Illinois on March 18, 1950.
Jim married Beth Sullivan in the early 1990's. Beth was the Creator, Executive Producer and Writer for the television series "Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman".
Jim and Beth are the proud parents of twin children, Jack and Tess born in 1996.
