Miguel Sandoval came from Bexar, he married Refugia Palacios in San Fernando de Bexar on October 21, 1855.

They were still in Bexar in July of 1860, appearing in the census of San Antonio that year. He is listed as 26 years of age and his wife Refugia 23 years of age, and what seems to be their two children, Paulo age 4 Liara ( Laura?) age 2.

Living in the same household with them is younger brother Atanacio Sandoval and his wife Damiana.

One of Miguel's daughters, Alejandra married Antonio de Hoyos Conde, son of Ursulo de Hoyos and Santa Ana Conde. Grandson of Felipe Conde and Paz de Luna.

It may well be that the "Liara" listed above may have been Alejandra, since her tombstone in Jiménez lists her birthdate as Feb. 27, 1860.
