Atanacio Sandoval, younger brother of Miguel Sandoval was born in 1836, he married Damiana Nañez in San Fernando de Bexar on November 21, 1858.

They were still in Bexar in July of 1860, appearing in the census of San Antonio that year. He is listed as 24 years of age and his wife Damiana 17 years of age. He is living in the same household with Miguel Sandoval and wife Refugia and what seems to be their two children, Paulo and Liara ( Laura?).
