Minute Man  The "WEB of FREEDOM" must be maintained

Activism is what makes Elections, Law, and Politics work for Freedom. Activism is a Citizens responsibility. Freedom comes at a price so we all must learn about American History, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights to preserve our Freedoms.

Every citizen of this United States should make an effort to stay informed about the events that affect our Republic and the quality of our lives. Safeguarding one's freedoms is a continual process. Please do what you can to be counted. I would like to see more Web Pages dedicated to the cause of freedom. I had fun creating these pages and I feel like I'm making a stand like the minuteman made at his local meeting place. Can you imagine carving your message in a wooden block or setting the type in a single page printing press to ink a parchment! This is what Patriots like Thomas Paine did with his "Common Sense" pamphlet.
I joined the Naval Reserves during the Vietnam conflict in response to my duty to keep my promise to serve in the name of freedom. Some my say this was an unjust war but I retort the same was said about the American Revolution. The French gave us their support and I'm sure some Frenchmen may have even protested their involvement, but they helped turn the tide in the American Revolution. I'm sure the English saw it as treason. We called it communism, too bad the people of South Vietnam were not as resolute as the minutemen were. I'm sure there a lot happier living here in the U.S. We owed the French but I'd call it even now.
Peter Reasoner, one of my ancestors  from Colonial Pennsylvania  fought and died in the Revolutionary War. You can see why I might feel a special attachment to the click-art minuteman in these pages. You and I are still reaping the the benefits of his sacrifice. We should not forget to preserve and pass along the ideals they fought for to future generations. The commitment to freedom  was passed down to each new generation in my family, but you don't have to be related to anyone in that war to start passing down this knowledge in your own family. Let it be known this is a promise that can not be broken or we will find ourselves once again ruled by dictators of one form or another. We all must die someday, but only the brave will live free. Make a promise to help preserve our Freedoms and live in the "Land of the Free" and the "Home of the Brave".
