    JAMAL INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT affiliated to Bharathidasan University was establised in the Golden Jubilee year of 2000-2001 with the approval of the AICTE, New Delhi. The aim of the Management Institute is to provide quality management education, business leadership and strive for corporate excellence. The guiding philosophy of all the academic activities of the institute is to inculcate professionalism in management and enhance the effective functioning of various business organizations.

    The curriculum is spread over a period of two years (4 semesters). In the first year of the post graduate programme the students take courses in the major functional areas of management such as Managerial Economics, Organisational Behaviour, Finance and Accounting, Marketing and Business Policy. The students are also exposed to certain basic disciplines like computers, Quantitative Techniques, Research Methodology and Managerial Communication. In the second year, the students go in for specialised Courses like Finance, Marketing and Systems depending upon the areas of interest.
