So I had a wonderful end to Heath week...saw A Knight's Tale TWICE!  Count 'em! Twice!  I was really good.  I didn't expect all that much from it, probably stupid funny with gorgeous Heath to drool over to make it worth spending $7.00, but was pleasantly suprised.  It was far better than expected!  So go see it.  The jousting is fucking awesome...I think it's time to go to the Fredricksburg Ren fair!  ROAD TRIP! Yippie!
Speaking of road trips...I think a counter for beach week is definately needed!  Hahaha!  And I promise, I'll take pic's and put them up as soon as I get them!  Prom too! :)
5-15-01 - 9:23 PM - Watching Fraiser

UGH!!!  Is prom over yet?  I mean...seriously!  I feel like I'm stuck in a Freddie Prinz Jr. movie right now!  It's like everyone's going, "So whose Claire going w/?"
"Oh, I heard she's going with Bobby."
"But I thought Bobby was going with Janna?"
     "No Janna's going with Tim."
"Oh." then turning to me, "Who are you going with Baily?"
Me:(Blushing and trying hard not to look at anyone) "Oh, well I don't have a date."
Everybody else:"Oh.  That's to bad.  Well there's still 12 days,  4 hours 56 minutes 37 seconds and 11 millaseconds.  You've got time.  I'm sure you'll figure something out." And then proceed to look down their nose at you and proceed to exclude you from the rest of the converstation...UGH!!! IT'S JUST PROM GIRLS! GET A FUCKING GRIP!!!!
     Settle D.
So today I came home and there, sitting on the kitchen table was a large package from my Kindergarten teacher who's living in Australia.  I open it up and in side is a beautiful quilt she knitted for me!  And she sent this note that I've just gotta share, it might be sappy or whatever but it really touched me.  Anyway, eat your hearts out:

                                                                                                                               April 2001

Dear Baily,
It is 11:00 PM. Frank is asleep.  I am packaging gifts that will not fit into a suitcase.  Besides, I must travel lightly.  This graduation package is done with lots of green plus jewel tones.  That's how I think of you.  Doesn't this card remind you of the crazy collages we used to construct?  Your art work was always interesting, but I will remember you as the kid who thought she should read the first day in Kindergarten!  You were so determined and quick to pick up any new ideas.  Golly, it seems like yesterday when you and your sister meandered to the cottage for dress-up playtime!  You were so funny and I enjoyed those hours as I never had daughters.  Now I have three lovely grandaughters and I'm half way around the world.  I am missing their formative years which makes me sad at times.  One can't have everything.  Frank is very good to me and I am suprprised at the speed of the past
10 years!  Frank will be 80 in September and is still doing very well-although I do see signs of slowing down!  He is still on the go most every day-more so than his wife!! We average 2 or 3 funerals a month.  It can get depressing.  I dread the day when and if I have to pack up and leave Australia alone for good.  Vacations are okay for 6 weeks-but a permanent move is mindboggling.  I came here with 2 suitcases, I would return to the states with a container(half a railroad car!!)!!  we are experiencing autumn.  Cold nights and mornings-but generally pleasent days at 70-75!
Don't know what your plans are for next year but I know you can do well anywhere if you want to.  You were blessed with intelligence, my dear.  Use it!!
We send our best wishes to you and regards to your family.
                                                                      Love,
                                                                            Ms. Nancy

Thanks Ms. Nancy.  That really ment a lot!  :)
