| 8-25-01 - 5:57PM - MWC - Gigi's unpacking, Maria's building things, and I'm chatting.... So, Had dinner w/ my evil gmother, my aunt and my parents at 'the club' last night(to be said in the snootiest possible brit accent). We're sitting there chatting and the conv. turns to the family company that is going under(mayfair mills), and how all the family is having major losses, and apparently so is my gmother. Now, I never even realized that she really had money. I thought that she always just spent what she had extravegently to appear like she had more than she did. But apparently she was one of the hardest hit with a net loss of about 5 MILLION!!!! Dollars!!!! I was like...HELLO!!!!!! Where the hell was I when she had this money???? So we're sitting there at the table and my aunt say to my gmother,"wow, you always complained about how poor you felt before...but(at this she holds her finger up and points it at my gmother and says), but now you really are!!!!" and starts laughing her head off. I am now totally convinced that not only that my family is totally weird, but also totally evil!!!! Anyway...I'm safely arrived at MWC, we're getting ready to go to dinner....then it's time to start drinking!!!!! YUMMY!!! Can anyone say Vodka please? :D |
| 8-26-01 - 12:10AM - In an email to Mike.... So it's 12:10AM and I just got back from a horse show and I'm about to cry b/c I just realized that today is the last day of summer....:( :( *sniff!* I'm so depressed. I hate school...grrrrrr. And to put me in an even better mood I'm all pissed off b/c the horse show sucked. It was a hunt club show and fyi, hunt clubs are basically country clubs on horse back. So everyone was all snooty and evil and it sucked major ass. And of course I was riding this really rank horse that didn't want to go around the ring so I didn't place well at all. I didn't have fun and it felt like such a waste of time. I hate that. When I'm stuck someplace doing something and I know it's just such a pointless thing to do. But I guess what ever divine being may be watching over us has a reason for making us do it...I just wish I knew what it was sometimes!!!! But on the up side...Last night was great!!! I was down in Fredricksburg visiting my friend Gigi and the gay guy Matt and meeting Gigi's new boyfriend and seeing some of my high school friends that are first years there.So at Mary wash(that's the college, Mary Washington College aka MWC), they don't have frats so everyone has little hush hush dorm parties as it's supposed to be a dry campus and therefore no alcohol in the dorm rooms, or there are team houses(ie the soccer team has a house, the baseball team...blah blah blah..etc etc etc.), which have parties, and then there are always the people that have appartments like gigi's bf Matt(not gay matt who's aka Muffy), and throw parties. <-Previous Home Next-> |
