Nanzan University

Singing, playing guitar, watching my teacher have a banana smashed on her face, those were all some of the fun times. Our teachers really worked hard to communicate with us. Not just in Japanese, but as one human being to another. We learned a lot of important lessons from them--not the least of which is to never let someone else be your arms and feed you!!!

O-hanami

Everyone loves spring in Japan when the cherry trees bloom and people take off work to picnic, sing, and drink beneath the dripping blossoms. Our teachers took us to a park and along with a few grandpa and grandma aged folks nearby taught us how to dance the old-fashioned way.
