Becky noticed "absolutely crazy felt like I was on a roller coaster" driving habits in Mexico. She also had a really awesome experience with her host family.
"Two days before I left, my host sister got married. It was so beautiful and different from weddings in the U.S. I got to see the wedding preparations and help out. I felt like my own sister was getting married--we were very close."

Sometimes you don't think of England as really being a "foreign country." But when she actually got there, Barb got a little shock:
"I was surprised how I actually had a hard time understanding accents. And driving habits--getting in on the other side of the car! No, but really, the most memorable? Getting to know and live with a British family while learning about the school and country in school and HANDS-ON!"
