Jon learned a lot about himself, too. His time in Scotland allowed him some reflection about Americans, but Jon discovered something else exciting--new connections.

"I have been able to stay in touch via e-mail with someone that I met while in Scotland, which is neat! I would recommend doing that; it's a great way to remain a part of what you left behind. Besides that, I got to visit St. Andrew's--the home of golf AND the 1st golf course!"

What did Jonna do that was tremendous in England? A lot--but she also loved traveling outside of her study abroad country.

"I always talk about the ease of travel and great sights I saw. I thought I would have problems traveling, but I didn't. Next time I would save more money and not worry about the small things."
