Avete et Valete Omnes!
These last few years of Latin Club have been incredible and the club has reached milestones never before conceived. We've won awards in the national and state web site contests two years in a row, placed in the top three at certamen finals, had incredible parties, and increased our membership two-fold. None of this could have happened without all your effort, so next year keep on giving it your best! If you want to chat more with me, e-mail [email protected] .
Make your futures good ones!

Farewell Message from Brad

tempus est mihi exire...
Wow... the last four years have gone by incredibly fast. It seems like only yesterday that I was a freshman in Mr. King's Latin I class, and now I'm a graduate and have finished the hardest Latin class our school had to offer. Well, guess I'll make it official now. I will not be taking any Latin classes in college. This is not because I've lost interest in the language, but instead based purely on one fact. NC State is an engineering school and, well, engineers don't really take much Latin, after high school anyway. I'm really impressed at what has become of this small little Latin Club that didn't even EXIST when I was a freshman. Only two short years ago, we were struggling to even get 5 people to show up for a meeting. As I leave, I can remember multiple times where we almost filled up the classroom. I'm sad to say that with as many fine members that we have, we were unable to find a replacement webmaster for the website to take over, but hey, things happen. I'll try and stop by for the first meeting next year.
Vale.
