| Page Five: The Handle of the island | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| If you have looked at a map of the island... hey, I have one here... ok.. you see that part of St.Kitts that you see right after the word Basseterre going down, that looks like a handle? *smiling*.. well that is where most of the pics are from. One(the last one) is from the other direction. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Well let's see what we have. Ok.. that last three is kinda dark since they were taken at sunset, or really close to it. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The first one is part of the view that you would get when you are enter what everyone here calls Frigate Bay. You are coming down around a hill at this point. There alot of hills in this place. Most of the rich people, tourist, and Ross students live here. The island is still a bit colour devided when it to where you live.. but then most people can only live in the place they do because of how much they make. Or live off of. I like where I live personly. Until I can move back to the US. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Ok.. the next picture is of the view that they teacher had from where she was staying in Half Moon Bay. She told me that when they showed her where she was staying that she was spechless. I then started saying how, I know everything is is small. But then she said no, it was the view.. it was breath taking. I just said oh. I remember when Half Moon Bay was just a bay and not a developed site. But I'm sure she isn't the only that thinks that it looks so great. It still really does. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Ok, moving on before you think that I've lost it....this pic is ... is what??.. oh..it's to the left of the one before it. I think it was taken first then the other one was taken after the sun went down. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Now like I said... this last one is not on this part of the island. Moving to the map that I have here.. *smiling*... It's in a placs called Old Road. On the map they say Old Road Town.. but one here adds the town part. At least not that I've heard. Now this is the sea few from a place called Sprat Net. It's can be called our local Red Lobser. That is what most people go there to eat. It serves mostly sea food, and with other local dishes. That sounds kinda odd, since most people here grow up on fish. But a few things have changed that.. and the younger ones seem to be growing up on chicken. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
