-Just finished voting... for Obama of course. And uploaded photos from Saturdays St. Louis Rally.

-Other than politics... we are all doing very well... Johnny is starting his certification for kitchen design, son is just getting bigger and bigger which i will have to post some pics of him as well... and me... well, busy as always trying to save the world and still love loveing my job!

-OH! And i almost forgot... we did start are first foster/adoption classes last night... i know it will be hard... but we are both very excited!

-So Lil John just recently had his FIRST in salon haircut and his Second Birthday! We had a great turnout and Lil J acquired some fabulous toys! Thank you!

-We are officially done hosting parties until NEXT SUMMER! That means I can start on house projects once again... oh boy! LOL

-This weekend was Johnny and I Ten-Year Reunion... Ive uploaded photos of both the friday and saturday night events.

-Speaking of photos, Ive also FINALLY uploaded photos of the henke family camping trip so you can check out those as well.

-Other than that we are just gearing up for annual henke halloween party... and i am absolutely loving my new job!!

-Just returned from Annual Henke Family Camping trip last weekend... with the exception of Lil J being a bit sick, we had a blast. As soon as I develop photos from disposal, I will post new photos and videos.

-As some of you may already know... I have been a Professional Interviewer this last month... (seriously, need your resume tweeked, a portfolio organized, flash cards for interviewee questions... I'm your lady!) I always told myself when I come back to work in the Public Relations field, I wanted to work for a non-profit... to work for a cause. Well, as of today I am very VERY estatic to announce that I accepted a job at Foster and Adopt Care Coalition (FACC)!!

-Sooo, Johnny was offered a job at Callier & Thompson Kitchen & Design Company earlier this month but then Home Depot counter offered with an amazing offer... and the poor guy has been completely torn. It was finally decided today that he could not pass up the offer Home Depot gave him, so he will be sticking it out a bit longer there. Thank you to all those who helped us decide! Anywho! So part of the new deal is he now has an 8-5 schedule AND Sundays off! Woo-hoo!

-As for the OTHER love of my life, lil j is now speaking in a few sentences here and there... I'm going to try and post a few more pics of him tonight! OH OH OH ... I almost forgot... I also gave him his first haircut! I dont have "after" pics yet... but I'll try to take some soon!

-Other than that, nothing else new... just waiting for the Annual Henke Camping trip and of course, Johnny has already dived head first into Halloween decor! *sigh* I adore him so!

-This morning was VERY fun! Woke up before the sun today and headed downtown to rally for Sen. Barack Obama... he, along with the other two main democrat candidates were speaking at the Urban League Conference today. First off, our group was double the size of Hillary's and Edward's... and soo much more energized...

-THEN... the Channel 2 reporter pulled me aside and asked me if I, covered in obama stickers and bumperstickers holding a BARRACK THE VOTE poster, was a supporter... umm YEAH! Well, she pulled me over to the camera and asked me some questions live on tv. Cool right? Yeah... well... I am the first to admit I am NOT the best public speaker...espcially if I do not have a script! BUT I think I held my own... especially when the reporter tried to lure me into saying something negative about the Clinton campaign... I just simply gave them props for coming down to the event.

-And THEN... the cherry on top... when Barack showed up for the conference... he came by our rally group and... and he shook my hand saying thank you. *awwwwe* I really wish I had some photos to share... but was VERY bummed to discover my camera ran out of batteries at that point.

-Well, we had our LAST wedding of the year, that we know of, last weekend! How exciting is that?!!

-The only major event we have coming up is our Second Annual Halloween Party... so save the date for Sat, Oct 27th!

- Man, Lil John has been so busy lately... we just went on a boat ride in Hillsboro with the Kansteiners on Thursday... and yesterday we headed to Grants Farm for the first time! He had a blast... go check out the photos!

-What a busy summer! Seems like every weekend we have a surprise 30th Birthday Party or something Wedding related!

-Lil John is growing so fast, saying all sorts of words now (elbow, knees, eyebrow) and inquiring about EVERYthing (was tha?)... His current favorite character is Sponge Bob which he's adorably nicknamed Bob Bob!

-Well, I'm off to get ready for yet another pool party/30th bday party... fun fun!

-We just returned from camping/boating w/ lil john and grandma/pa davis... you can view pics under PHOTOS section

-We ended up returning early and coincidently received phone call asking if I would report to Lambert Airport for the movie set of "The Return" starring Tim Robbins and Rachel McAdams. No big deal... I was Flight Attendent Supervisor... although no biggie and doubt you'll see me in final cut... but it was fun seeing them in action.

-Last night was fun...no really... both myself and Lil John were rushed to the ER at St Johns for a stomach virus of sorts... poor widdle guy. Johnny came home to me doubled over in tears from the pain... Lil Johnny woke up in his bed with his lunch surroundng him... So John put us both in the car, buckets in hand, and hospital bound we were. Both of us are fine today and still don't really know the cause.

-While at the hospital I was informed that my Father's father (Grandpa Kemper) passed away... so please keep my family in your prayers. I was very thankful I went and saw him the previous night in the hospital. Arrangements will be made this evening and Im sure the wake and funeral will be this tues and wed

-Sorry... nothing that great to report today... although I was this last week accepted by Talent Plus... one of the largest acting/talent agencies in this city... fun stuff.

-So if you haven't noticed I've rearranged the website a bit... just made it a bit more organized... now you can find links and photos from the links along the top.

-If you haven't watched the movie "Inconveniant Truth" by Al Gore... don't let the fact that a politician put the movie together scare you... it's an incredible, eye-opening movie. Johnny and I already recycled and what not... but now I've made it my mission to help spread the word.

-Lil J has been doing just great... I can't believe how much of a lil man he is! He's a bit of a crab-cake lately since he's FINALLY getting some molars.

- So I've come to the conclusion that kids are never COMPLETELY healthy for longer than a week! LOL... Lil j has had RSV AND pink eye back to back! HOWEVER, we did visit the cardiologist this month and he informed us that the hole in his heart has officially closed completely UP! YAY!

- Not much else going on... been a lil more lazy on taking so many pics of the lil guy... sorry to those who just live on those updates! ha!
