| Korianthis is the empire of the amakrynos, the raven elves, in Caerden. The empire is primarily located in a marsh commonly known as the netherswamp. The empire is both above and below ground, and has three different capitals, as it is nearly impossible for the warring factions of the raven elves to decide on a true capital. Akurr The raven elf city-state of Akurr shares the rulership of Korianthis. Almost every aspect of the city is weaker than the two other city-states that it shares rule with, and a ruler from Akurr has not arisen in many centuries. The city Akurr is known for its slums and overall undignified stature. However, Akurr has an impressive freeform navy that scowls the seas and has large influence. The city is located in east-southeast Korianthis along the coast. Cor'thyl Cor'thyl (also known as Cortel), is commonly known as the second strongest of the city-states of Korianthis. The very well known Urokem family has gained control over the city and has its tenticles spread through much. Furthermore, Cor'thyl, for the first time in several centuries, has claimed leadership over Korianthis, rather than Detesia. Cor'thyl has become a strong city located in west-northwest Korianthis, near the Odirok fields. Cor'thyl is well known for having to both keep the orcs tame and fend off the elves, a large task none of the other city-states must deal with. Cor'thyl is partially underground, but not to the extent of Detesia and more so than Akurr. Detesia, Shimmerglow A large city-state of undeniable power, Detesia has long been the ruling state in Korianthis. It has few immediate problems, being in the center of the netherswamp as well as deep underground, and is therefore able to concentrate on its control over Korianthis. The raven elf Fangli'osa currently rules Detesia, and works toward regaining the city's power and influence away from the accursed Urokem family.
