Sean doesn't come to chem lab dinner with us,
That's because he's too lazy to walk across campus!
Together we stick in the chem lab all day.
There's Dave and there's Sara and then there is Kimi,
We've got two Katies, a Claire and a Jenny.
We work so hard all day long in chem,
And we want to do is get the right answer to the spectroscopy problem.
It's the end of the day and you'd think we'd be done, Then we have chem lab dinner for hours more of fun.
Our favorite thing to do is Sn2,
We'll do a backdoor reaction til our chem days are through.
Some say we're crazy and some say we're nuts,
But we say it's only because we are around carcinogenic chemicals too much!
They yell and call us "Stupid Undergrads" all day.
We want to learn O-chem, that's all we want to do
But they argue about procedure until our three hours are through.
Suppose to characterize your product, oh, let's get some spectra
But then, alas, it doesn't work.
