              ABOUT SEALs

         The Navy SEALs are the best trained military group in the world.The word SEAL stands for SEa Air Land.Most military groups can only do missions on the land.That is what sepperates the SEALs from the Rangers, Green Berets, Delta Force, and the Marine Recon groups.That is a brief summary about the best force in the world.

                                         BUD/s

         The most demanding part of being a SEAL is the training.This training is called BUD/s.BUD/s stands for Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training.During these six months the "future" SEALs are pushed to there limits and beyond.A saying that the SEALs have is "The Only Easy Day Was Yeaterday."This is a very true statement.Every day is harder and harder, and the SEALs are pushed further and further.One hard week is called Motivation Week.(a.k.a Hell Week)During these five and one half days the SEALs get about four hours of sleep.After Hell Week(if you pass)the rest of the BUD/s training is in a classroom.After BUD/s YOU ARE A SEAL.The best special force in the world.There is still two things you must still do before you are a SEAL.You must go to Dive School and Parachuting School.They are both three weeks long.Then after you have completed all of that you are sent out to wherever for dangerous missions all over the world.
