Mining in JG is done by mounting a Mining Laser on your craft, then parking next to an asteroid and shooting it continuosly, until your cargo hold is full. The color of the rock you mine, determins what kind of ores will be extracted. The asteroids that are primarily blue/grey contain a lot of ice. The ones you want to mine have red/green/gold spots!
