We own our home in a sunny San Francisco neighborhood called Noe Valley. We can walk to shops and cafes, parks, playgrounds, and schools. Many of our neighbors are young families with children. Our home has airy, light-filled rooms painted with warm and inviting colors. We have a big family room and a backyard where our kids can play.
Our pets are a big part of our home. We have two cats named Amber and Griffin who like to cuddle in our laps and purr. We also have a puppy named Guinness. He is gentle and sweet. We take him to the beach where he plays in the sand and waves.
Our family is close and very loving. Our parents have been married for over 35 years! Their love and commitment is a true inspiration for our marriage. Our parents are as excited about adoption as we are. This will be the first grandchild for both families, and they cannot wait to lavish a child with love.
Jessica's sister, Amanda, and Jeff's sister and brother-in-law, Abby and Colin, live a few miles away, so we see them very often. Jessica's brother Alex is in college in Wisconsin, and Jeff's two brothers, Ross and Steven, live in Los Angeles. Our siblings are very close to us and are excited to be aunts, uncles, and babysitters! We also have a group of close friends in the Bay Area, many of whom have young children or are expecting babies.
