11-17-01 Its about time for an update! Well some interesting things that happened were it rained on our homecoming game, and I got utterly soaked wearing nothing but a tee-shirt and a pair of shorts. There is nothing quite as pathetic as a soggy Los Angelino My roommate's girlfriend came by memorial day weekend. They are trying to hook me up with her friend, and the reason we'd be perfect for each other is the fact that we are both a little nutty. Gee you don't know how special that makes me feel, hey look at that girl she's crazy, she'd be perfect for Jason. =P. In sadder news a train hit this guy who was trying to beat the train on a bike, I got there 15 min after it happened, the paramedics were working on him, but he eventually died. Also in sad news, I am getting ##$@ by my mid terms! ARG. I am looking forward to Thanksgiving, I am sure I will have plenty of stuff to write after Thanksgiving (hehe). I will be visiting UCI shortly which will be quite fun I hope, but over the holidays I must work on work cause I am very behind on finishing the construction managements accreditation web site, and I'd hate to single handedly shut down an entire department at Cal Poly. Fortunately in this world of technology, your work can travel any place you do.
Even though I am severely in dept, I cannot help but contemplate getting a console, the last console I ever had was my good 'ol 8-bit Nintendo, man did i spend countless hours on that thing. And now with the game cube and the X-box released and the play station 2 out, I really lust for a gaming platform other than my PC which I am weaning off of games and entertainment (at least excessive amounts of it) 3 months clean of counter strike and counting. Some one slap me, I don't even earn enough money to pay for rent and I keep thinking about buying a game cube! ARG!

10-31-01 Hello, Since I've had multiple requests to write stuff in here, I guess I will =P. Well first of all Happy Halloween, I'm not doing much for Halloween, I was supposed to go to a party today, but it was canceled cause of the rain. I was also thinking about getting that temp hair dye stuff and temporarily dye my hair orange, just so I do something for Halloween, but i don't know, I'd have to go to the store and buy it which seems like too much work for me. If anyone has a costume, send me a pic! Speaking of pics I have some new ones to put up, but don't hold your breath, I'm not very fast at getting things done.
So anyways, I do have an interesting thing that happened today, I was in the bathroom after my math class, and I was finishing washing up, when the lights when out, and I was instantly plunged into darkness. It took me a moment to realize that the power went out, and even a longer moment to realize that there were no windows and that I was in absolute darkness. So after feeling my way to the place I knew I left my bag, I slowly crept towards where I thought the door was. I took painfully slow steps as when you are in total darkness in a strange room, it always feels like your about to hit a wall. So after a few minutes I found the door, and light hit my eyes, and I was relieved.
My job is incredibly tedious and boring, Ick, since I am making a professional web-document (which I have never done before) I cannot use much color or texture or flashy or gaudy stuff. eesh, my boss keeps telling me to redo them cause the colors were "too bold" In other peoples news, Hank has an ics project due plus all sorts of other mid-term stuff, so he's quite bogged down, I was like that last week. It sucks when you have to study for four consecutive mid-terms. Charith is preparing for the launch of his website www.iqwest.net. It cracks me up how he has things saying "© Copyright 2002 IQwest Technologies. All Rights Reserved." especially considering he has no copyright, and that IQwest technologies is not a registered business, but oh well =P. He keeps showing me links to crazy things that Microsoft is brewing, they are really cool, but some part of me yearns for the simple care free days of win 3.1 where I would play cyber empires, star control 2, or tie fighter, and where my OS was 25 Mb and didn't have 50,000 things that it could do.
I have been doodling in my notebook during lectures again, and it hit me, I would love to start a web comic or an editorial comic if it wasn't for my total lack of drawing skills, maybe someday I can team up with an artist, like the guys at www.penny-arcade.com did, or learn how to draw (yeah right).
I am sure all of you have been following the odyssey mission closely, well if you haven't try www.space.com for an update. 10-27-01 Yay! Hank gave me Office woo, also a different Html editor that he claims is better. Arg, still a lot of stuff to update to the site, but it'll have to wait, I'm going downtown, and then I have work work and school work, when will it all end? =P

10-27-01 Despite being behind in my work, I just wanted to give as small update. I have been trying to get windows Xp to run well on my system. But I've had some setbacks, like getting the multiple operating systems thing to work, it only seems to want to work if the operating system is on the same hard drive. Also, I can't get my TV-card to work on it, and without TV I might have to be productive or SOCIAL!!!! And finally, thanks to the cheap cds I bought (100 cds for $10 is a bad deal!!) My Office XP cd went bad, so I cannot do my work there, or work on my page in XP. So needless to say I am stuck in ME land right now, I can't count the number of hours I have lost from ME crashing, and me not saving my work.
This weekend Chris is going to Knott's Scary Farm, Char is up in Berkley with his folks (of Course), and I'm sure many other ppl went home or someplace cool this weekend, while I am still here in San Luis *sigh*
Harveen is the newest person to voluntarily give her info to me!!!! =) I need everyone's updated info pls!!! Also if you got info on other ppl I'll take it as well, I was hoping to have more ppl up by now, but you know me. Also I don't like my initial design, but I'll stick with it right now.

10-24-01 Okay, lot's of news to report today. To recap on my past week, my mid-terms varied in how I did. I failed my Physics 133 Exam, I did alright in Calc 3, and I did good in Logic and Switching Circuits, and in Electrical Circuit Analysis. But enough about icky things, I found a part time job!!!! I'm so happy =). I get paid to take this loooong word document, and turn it into a web page, it's pretty easy, but also a challenge because it's like some sort of accreditation report, and there will be these old dinosaurs reading the thing. So here I must make it look good without frightening the dinosaurs with bold pastel colors or detailed textures. The very first thing I had to do was make an organizational chart, they rejected the first three because it was too intense for them, arg! =). So ya I am happy cause like no one was hiring me, and when they would they paid me min wage, but now I get paid $8/hr, this helps, but i think I still need to get a weekend job to help ends meet as the job ends Dec 1st and I am still quite poor living off of minimal help from parents and a non-adequate supply of mullah from the government.
Other things that happened this week was a got a nasty hang nail and it was quite bloody and pussy, and it really hurt. So after messing with it and realizing how serious it was, I call my insurance company and they say that the doctors in San Luis aren't taking new patients and that I am only covered for emergency services unless I come back to L.A. that sucks, because I want my bleeding foot looked at. So I've got a lot of options still, and hopefully my foot will be okay until someone looks at it. Also one of my housemates, who basically took over our living room with a bunch of boxes and junk was told by me and my roommate (okay so it was just my roommate while I stood sheepishly behind him), that he had to get it all out! It's sad, I try to keep my room and stuff clean and organized, but this stupid guy dumps his crap all over the place making me feel embarrassed about my apartment.
Yet some more things that happened was that char char revealed his brand spanking new web page! It still follows his last page's theme of a "professional" web page and I must admit it really looks nice, at least the first page, he says this is like a beta or something, but I think it is still worth seeing, like only the first page works but it still is cool. You can find it here! Also Sara Z. e-mailed me and told me I had her b-day wrong, sorry Sara!!!!!
Well I guess that's all except all that junk going on in Afghanistan, and a whole lot of computer news and junk.

10-16-01 Well I checked the Web Tracker thingy I have and to my surprise an average of two ppl looked at my site even though I haven't done anything to it in the longest time, isn't the internet wonderful?

10-16-01 Added a Calendar today, oooohhhhhhh, also I went to a job fair thing at school, kind of cool, got a cool pen and a bumper sticker, aw yea. I will "Strikethrough" any of the menu items that link to a page that hasn't been updated yet, when I update them, I will take off the Strikethrough. Well until I start up those 'ol Personal logs again which fuzz so diligently writes I guess I will say a little 'bout my day. I didn't go to sleep last night, that's why I had time to work on the web page. You see I was planning to study for my Midterms (Check the calendar) but instead I ended up watching TV, browsing the internet and such, I seem to do ANYTHING to avoid having to rack my brain full of arcane formula, theories, and theorem, go figure.

Hehe, I just crossed out everything to be updated, and while I have already started to update things like the links section and the Pictures section, I'll wait until I make further updates before uploading them to the site. =P

10-13-01 Hello, I am now updating this site again. Why did I stop working on this site? Well I guess I stopped cause school got hard, and over the summer I was extremely lazy which i tend to aspire to at times. Since I have not worked on this site in a long time I will not tell anyone about it yet, If you are reading this, then I must say that I am appreciative to have a loyal viewer who has been viewing a web site with virtually no contact and no updates in over 4 months!! Actually Its hard to have people look at my site while I am adding things, it makes me feel overwhelmed like I should do more to entertain and please anyone who takes time to look at my web page, and as a full time student who is currently desperately looking for a job, I don't have the time or dedication to work on a website every day and sometimes not even every week. But from now on I do pledge never to grossly neglect this site as I have done in these past 4 months.
Back in the day when I was maintaining this site I was reading about all kinds of crazy sh*t you can do on a web page, like java script, asf, cgi, etc. etc. I understand very little of these things that spruce up website so, however I would love to implement some cool ideas that I have, but I just lack the website developing experience to do so, anyways I don't know where I am going with this thought (Mrs. Maruna would turn over in her grave if she were dead that is) But I guess I just want to say that I hope I can make this site cool by learning how to develop this site better =P. Areas I want to focus are on graphics, navigation, and content. So far all of the graphics done on this website were either stolen legally, scanned in, or made in MS Paint. I plan on installing adobe Photoshop when I get my bigger hard drive, which should be soon. Also it would be my dream to host something creative of mine on this site such as a comic or something, I have all of these funny great ideas but 3 year old children surpass me in the ability to draw. AS far as navigation goes, I don't know how I want to organize all of my info, I have a lot of pictures, and enough pages to make organizing them difficult. I also want to have more content, I still have too many pages with little or no content on them, this must change soon. Okay this is officially a very long rant, that I will end for now.
