Jewish Apple Cake Recipe

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Filling: mix the following ingredients and set aside

  • 5 or 6 sliced apples
  • 2 tsps of cinnamon
  • 5 tbsps of sugar

Batter: combine following incredients until smooth

  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 2 1/2 tsp vanilla

    Directions:
    Pour 1/2 the batter into greased pan, then the apples, then the rest of the batter. Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.
