I can give out only a few details on this one. ^^;;
Kareshi Kanojyo no Jijyo roughly translates to Boyfriend Girlfriend Circumstances, but to make it more suitable to the whole anime itself, not just its main characters, it therefore translates to His/Her Situation.
Popularly known as KareKano, this anime trudges the highly competitive environment of the Kaganawa perfectual Higschool, in the persons of two rivals, Yukino Miyazawa and Souichirou Arima.
In a nutshell, most of the significant characters such as Yukino, Souichirou and Maho are competing against each other in order to be the tp student in school. Each thinks that the other had made a big mistake to come to Kaganawa High. Thus, they ramble and scour to find the flaw of their adversaries. Yukino in particular has a dark secret. She may look so prim and proper in school, but when she's home, she's like a geek in themaking. Slobbish as she may be, she is branded the "Queen of Vanity" by her family. At home, she studies her lessons like mad so that she can excel in school (for she's really not THAT intelligent). Her masquerade was discovered by Maho and Souichirou and both have plans of putting Yukino down. Maho promoted a smudge campaign while Souichirou blackmailed Yukino into doing his homework for the sake of the secret be kept. At the end they all became friends, with Yukino and Souichirou in particular as a couple (given that they had spent so much time together ^_^) |
