Not even Ms. Queen of Vanity herself. At home she's not the Yukino her classmates and teachers know of. She's a slob in sweatshirts and pants with hair tied up in a ponytail. She does this just as for her to maintain her reputation in school. Not to forget: to satisfy her yearning for praise. |

| Age: 14 Yukino's greatest opponent. He's whom you want to call perfect. Good-looking, intelligent, athletic and a reliable leader, he gains the position of class representative much to Yukino's dismay. He strives to become the perfect student and son his FOSTER parents would be so proud of--or is there more to it than that? Somewhat condemned by his other relatives other than his uncle and aunt (his foster parents), Souichirou vows to become successful so as for the shame his real father caused be forgotten and him to finally be accepted in the clan. He thought everything was going well, until he met Yukino. |
| Age: 14 One of Yukino's able adversaries, she was a success in her middle school and aspires to also succeed in highschool. Not until she crosses Yukino, who unexpectantly superceded her. Feeling betrayed, she found a way to pull Yukino down. Much to her delight, she discovered Yukino's dark side. Thinking that the disclosure of Yukino's secret will put the latter to shame, she started a smudge campaign. Unfortunately, the tables turned and she instead was the one who was shut out. But Yukino made it all disappear--by befriending Maho. |
| Age: 14 Asapin is the drop-dead gorgeous bestfriend of Souichirou. He's not really an achiever like his best friend, but they have some things in common which glue them together: being alone and having a poor relationship with one's father. Since Souichirou became fond of Yukino and spent time with her more often than he does with his best friend, Asaba began to perceive Yukino as a big hindrance to their friendship and his "Asaba Merryland". Nevertheless, they all became good friends at the end. |
