Rebounding from numerous savage press reports surrounding her "Worst Concert Ever" (the memorable New Hampshire casino gig), American songstress Jewel Kilcher received further abuse for her blatant support of swinging.
Asked if this will affect her career, Jewel defiantly responded, "I don't know how this got so blown out of proportion. My family are all swingers. Most people think that in Alaska swinging happens during the long cold winters... I enjoy it more during the summer, cold weather is not a real turn on for me. Swinging is a natural form of entertainment that seems so organic, it comes more naturally to me than say, dance rhythm or getting sprayed by a fire hose."
"Even if some cowboy were to ask me to marry, he'd have to accept my swinging lifestyle." Then Jewel added with a knowing wink, "any man who has staying power when bull riding, then yeah... swinging would definately make his... err... heart throb."
