Welcome to yet another personal webpage! No, it doesn't do anything, but I have every intention of updating the various sections, so feel free to check back. *L*

On to the personal info. After 11 years in Edmonton, Alberta, I recently moved back to British Columbia where I grew up. I had moved to Edmonton to attend the University of Alberta and I graduated with a BSc in biological sciences with a minor in anthropology. After graduating, I accepted a position as a medical laboratory assistant, specifically as a phlebotomist (a blood collector) and later in urinalysis (yes - it's exactly what it sounds like, the chemical and microscopic analysis of urine). It was a great opportunity as it exposed me to a field I had never considered before - medical laboratory technology. I was accepted into the MLT program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and continued to work while going to school. I worked as a Med Lab Tech in chemistry in Alberta after graduation. When I decided it was time to move back to my hometown, I was lucky to find a new job as a tech very quickly.

As for hobbies and interests, I like sewing, crafts, reading (particularly fantasy and thrillers) and forcing myself to go the gym. Most of my crafts are small painting projects, like ornaments, picture frames or jewelry boxes. My sewing projects include both clothing and home decor. With friends, I enjoy going to the movies, ten pin bowling (don't laugh!), playing pool or just having a talk over coffee or a drink. I also like walking, hiking and camping.
