Hi! I'm George R. and I welcome you to my page.
I have many interests but mainly, it is aviation and computers. I was raised in Southern California but born in Memphis. I am a retired (or just TIRED)A&P Mechanic (35 years) but still work on a few friends business jets from time to time to keep current. As far as my education background is concerned, I hold an AAS and many other technical training certificates (they would cover a wall), but won't go into details. Could have gone on to get get my Masters in Aviation Technology from Cal Poly SLO, but was too busy making em'fly and raising a family. In my free time I like to golf and build custom scenery for MS Flight Sim Currently, I am in the process of writing a book for beginners who want to get into aviation maintenance. I also like Country and Classic Rock and Roll, specifically, I'm a hard core REO Speedwagon fan from way back. I began playing drums when I was about 11 years old and now play 17 percussion instruments. I run my own business called Nova Aviation Services, LLC. We do many things in the aviation industry but mostly write or edit technical manuals and such. Friends and family have called me the "Jetman" for many years because of my aviation maintenance experience. The picture at left was taken at the Grand Ole Opry in 1996.
