| For Other People: Dear Lord, thank you for my friends. It's great to have friends I can talk to and share things with. Help me always to show my friends how important they are to me by being kind and loving. And, Lord, thank you for Jesus, who is my very best friend. In his name, amen. |
| When I am afraid or worried: Dear Lord, sometimes I have to stay by myself, and I don't like it very much. Will you please help me to remember that I'm not really alone-that you're here with me all the time? Help me to remember the safety rules I've been taught. And please protect me from danger. | When I am angry or upset: Dear God, thank you for listening when I pray to you. I'm upset today, Lord, because I didn't do well on my school work. My mom and dad are disappointed, too. Father, please help me to work harder so I can do better the next time. Help me to study as hard as I would if Jesus were my teacher. In his name I pray, Amen. Father, I'm so glad that I have you to talk to when I'm angry. And I'm really upset with my friend today. Please help me to forgive my friend so that we can be friends again.
