| My Story |
| I would like to share with you the most life changing experience anyone could every have.. Before this I had no purpose in life, I was lonely, I was almost friendless, but I found the answer, the way, the truth, and the life. It all began when my Grandmother and uncles told me of this man they called Jesus. |
| I remember when my Uncle David helped me memorize a verse that almost everyone hears once in there lifetime. I would soon find the true power of this verse. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him shoud not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 |
| I. The Way |
| I finally got up the courage to ask the youth minsters wife the "big" question "How does someone become a Christian? She explained that to become a Christian one had to ask Jesus into thier heart. She said if I would believe in my heart that Jesus gave his life, all aspects of his life, and died for me, and that God raised Him from the dead; And confess that he is Lord that I would be saved! It is simple! Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved! Jesus himself said. I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life John 6:47 I finally accepted God's free gift of everlasting life. I am here to tell you that my life was immoral. The way I was living was not right, but the way Jesus lived was perfect. I realized that God wanted to forgive me and help me live my life to it's fullest! Jesus said: My purpose is to give life in its fullness John 10:10 |
| II. The Truth |
| The truth is that God loves me, and he loves you. God has a great plan for your life. But, because of sin we are separated from God. You and I both sin, but I am a saved sinner. I am saved from going to hell, or an eternal separation from God. We are all sinners Romans 3:23 The price for sin is death. Romans 6:23 The price for sin may be death, but the gift of God is eternal life. It's FREE!!! God's son, Jesus, paid the ultimate price with his life. God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners Romans 5:8 I found the truth in Jesus Chirst. He is awesome!! Taking my sin, enduring the pain and shame of the cross. There is nothing that can compare to my great God and Savior Jesus Christ. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:32 |
| III. The Life |
| Since I have accepted Jesus as my Savior and made him Lord of my life, I am never lonely, I have alot of great friends. I have been given the ability of playing the Guitar. My life is good. God is good, all the time. But, I still have problems, but God has promised to be with me always. I don't always make A+ in school, some people don't like me, I'm not married, but God is always there. I have found that God will take care of my basic needs in His time. And my God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory. Phil 4:19 |
