| Our Point of View
The man whispered, "God, speak to me" and a meadowlark sang. But, the man did not hear. So the man yelled, "God, speak to me" and the thunder rolled across the sky. But, the man did not listen. The man looked around and said, "God let me see you." And a star shined brightly. But the man did not see. And, the man shouted, "God show me a miracle." And, a life was born. But, the man did not notice. So, the man cried out in despair, "Touch me God, and let me know you are here." Whereupon, God reached down and touched the man. But, the man brushed the butterfly away and walked on. |
| Mary Had a Little Lamb
Mary had a little lamb, His fleece was white as snow. And everywhere that Mary went, The Lam was sure to go. He followed her to school each day, Twasn't even in the rule. He made the children laugh and play, To have a Lamb at school. And the the rules all changed one day, Illegal it became; To bring the Lamb of God to school, Or even speak his Name. Everyday got worse and worse, And days turned into years. Instead of hearing children laugh, We heard gun shots and tears. What must we do to stop the crime, That's in our schools today? Let's let the Lamb come back to school, And teach our kids to pray! |
