| Dorothy, Take my hand. This site is dedicated to my grandfather. His last words were "Take my hand Dorothy, and let's go." With great difficulty he lifted his weak, cancer eaten hand out into seemingly dead air, and focused his eyes on where his weathered hand was extended. Then he slipped away. His voice was so kind and gentle. Later we found that Dorothy was his sister - who had died two weeks previous of his birth. "Take my hand Dorothy, and let's go." He fought cancer for fourteen years until it paralyzed him, and then it took him. Cancer may have won, but Paw-Paw taught me somthing that day that I will never forget. "Take my hand Dorothy, and let's go." Do angels exist? Oh yeah. |
