LOVE POEMS
A Few Miles Apart Means Nothing
Some people ask how do I keep going,
Not seeing the one I love that much
I said It’s because I love him,
Even though I long for his touch.

Just because we live a couple miles apart,
Doesn’t mean we can’t love each other,
That’s not what loves about,
It’s about one another.

I would give the world,
Just to be with him for one more day,
And when my time comes,
I know what I would say.

I would say thank you,
For all the times we had,
Now it’s time for me to go,
Please don’t be sad.

I would start crying,
And put my head on his shoulder,
I would tell him goodbye,
Then tell him I love him.

But until that day comes,
When we have to say goodbye,
I will live another day with his love,
And live a happy life…
