Monroe and caused me to spell
Alices surname the same as the late diva. Yet in actual fact the e
in Munroe is phonetically unnecessary.
Continuing this train of thought, I found it possible to model Munros
stories on the principal of necessity. Only the essential
details are used, creating a clarity
and calmness about her work
