This site will hopefully show my friends and any others concerned my progress in my efforts to buy, and build one awesome Volkswagen Caddy. For those here who are clueless to what a Volkswagen Caddy is, Caddy is the worldwide name for what we here in the United States knew as the Volkswagen Rabbit Pickup. The Volkswagen Rabbit Pickup (aka Caddy) was built in the United States in Volkswagen's Westmoreland Pennsylvania plant, not far from Pittsburgh. It was produced and sold in the United States from 1980 through 1983, but production of this vehicle by Volkswagen continues in outher contries, even today. Product moved from the United States to Yugoslavia in the 1980's and then later to South Africa, where it is still produced.
